Galvanizing also called Hot Dip Galvanizing, is a process of immersing clean, fabricated iron or steel material into a bath of molten zinc to form a zinc coating onto the iron or steel surface. The zinc coating protects the surface against corrosion by providing protection to the iron or steel from the environment elements causing galvanic corrosion.  

Galvanizing industrial coating is utilized in virtually every industry where iron and steel is used. The automotive and industrial steel industries utilize galvanizing extensively.

The galvanizing process has distinct advantages over other industrial coatings methods in that cost is low and quality easily controlled and superior corrosion resistance given to the iron or steel material.
